Mr. Jerry Risner. C.E.O. - M.S, : A retired U.S. Army Captain, Jerry Risner has dedicated more than 50 years to leadership in healthcare, behavioral health, and community services. As Chief Executive Officer of Buffalo Valley, Inc. since 1988, he has guided the organization's growth into one of Tennessee's largest rural providers of behavioral health treatment, recovery services, housing, and community support programs.
Jerry provides strategic leadership for Buffalo Valley's operations, overseeing a team of more than 250 employees, 13 licensed treatment facilities, more than 200 residential treatment beds, and intensive outpatient programs serving communities across Tennessee. Working closely with the leadership team, medical staff, and Board of Directors, he leads organizational planning, financial stewardship, program development, and long-term strategic initiatives to expand access to high-quality behavioral healthcare, recovery support, and affordable housing for individuals and families across the state.
